Chanson Cafe teacher and two of her students
Last month on August 16th one Canadian, one American and roughly 15 Japanese got together to learn French through singing songs. Organizing the cafe where students can come to fine tune their French pronunciation, increase their French vocabulary and master some of France's traditional classic songs was the wonderful idea of Blandine, a French woman who is originally from the part of France called Normandy, and has been living here in Shizuoka for over a year. All the participants in her Chanson cafe were very enthusiastic in embracing the fun and lively traditional tune called Les Champs-Elysees.
For me it was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Please contact Blandine or me through this web-page if you'd like to attend the next Chanson cafe on Saturday, September 20th.
