①priceless:(値段をつけられないほど)きわめて貴重な
②in awe:畏敬の念を抱いて、畏れて
③disappeared:消える
④getting the hang of it:コツをつかむ
⑤diverse:多様な
⑥prairies and springs:草原や泉?
⑦give a hand:手伝う
Every year in my summer vacation, I have had a lot of ①priceless experience.
As a this year's memory of summer vacation, I still can not forget that I was watching Nagaoka fire displays ②in awe.
Big, big fireworks suddenly appeared in the dark sky and ③disappeared immidiately.
I tried to take pictures of them many times, but it was more difficult than I expected.
It was bit difficult
Submitted by Ayami Koroki on Sat, 10/04/2008 - 20:21In Ken's diary on September14, he asked us to find the Vocablary and phrases hidden in the text.
So I tried to find the words. It was bit difficult but I could find them.
Then I tried to know the meanings of each words. However, no matter how many times I consulted with many kinds of dictionary, I was not able to get the meaning of "prairies and springs".
Now I guess it means just "prairies and springs". "Praisies" as in "Little House on the Prairie ", "springs" as in "hot springs"...is this correct??

In my hometown Miyazaki, I met some of my old friends. It was August 10th.
Many of them are not in Miyazaki, they are working or going to school around Tokyo.
However, some are back in Miyazaki after they finished university.
This day, I had lunch with them, went to karaoke, and took purikura!^^

None of Japanese do not know this name.
Then, I found a wired Icecream,,,,which is in the first picture. It is named Koshihikari Icecream...RICE ICECREAM?!
