I miss the days when I was talking to Ken and classmates in English!!!
I keep trying to study English by going to English conversation school, but its only once in a week, only 1 hour.
how have you been,Ken/Mio and Yuko?^^☆
It was bit difficult
Submitted by Ayami Koroki on Sat, 10/04/2008 - 20:21In Ken's diary on September14, he asked us to find the Vocablary and phrases hidden in the text.
So I tried to find the words. It was bit difficult but I could find them.
Then I tried to know the meanings of each words. However, no matter how many times I consulted with many kinds of dictionary, I was not able to get the meaning of "prairies and springs".
Now I guess it means just "prairies and springs". "Praisies" as in "Little House on the Prairie ", "springs" as in "hot springs"...is this correct??
It's all Greek to me!
Submitted by Ken on Tue, 09/30/2008 - 21:34Had an really wonderful stay in Tarpon springs. We saw some very special sights like the Greek church
and we ate the most amazing Greek food at a place called Mama's
and just walked around a very historical place learning about many interesting things like sponges for example.
Happy Birthday Katie!
Submitted by Ken on Thu, 09/25/2008 - 17:07It's my extreme pleasure to introduce to you one of my newest friends and a proud resident of Winter Park, Florida. Her names is Katie.
She's done volunteer work for 30 years.
It's pretty hard to believe that the charming thrift shop she's doing volunteer work at used to be a jail.
That's where the thrift shop was relocated to some years back.

After seven long years it feels good to be back home in Florida on so many levels.
I totally surprised my brother Howard who had no idea I was back in town. The look on his face was absolutely priceless.

フロリダ-Florida
Submitted by Mio on Sat, 09/13/2008 - 22:49フロリダにスパニッシュモスという樹がある。
不思議な樹。
日本では見かけない樹だから余計に見入ってしまう。
Ken

Say "Hi" to Amanda and Lou
Submitted by Ken on Sat, 09/13/2008 - 02:30She is my new best buddy. She weighs more than 300 pounds, and loves the hot spring waters here at Homosasa Springs in Florida.
Any guesses to what kind of animal is she!
Good guess!
She is a Florida Manatee and as I said before she makes her home at the lovely state park in Homosassa Springs along with some of the other laid back residents there.
Meet Lou for example the 48 year old Hippo. He enjoys making a splash with all the visitors here.
